Nicole is counsel to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care on a broad range of issues relating to capital projects, specialist physician funding and laboratories operations.
Called to the Bar in 2013, Nicole received her JD from The University of Windsor. Prior to law school, Nicole completed a Bachelor of Arts at York University, majoring in both History and Latin American Caribbean Studies. At law school Nicole worked as a legal ethics research assistant and served as the Student Director of the Law Enforcement Accountability Project, leading multiple research teams on policing and Charter issues.
Nicole led the execution of BFLN’s annual retreat, Sistahs-in-Law, from 2008 – 2016, and in 2017 will lead BFLN’s Advisory Board. In addition to supporting BFLN’s mandate, Nicole dedicates her time to mentoring young people in their pursuit of education.
